Hydrochlorofluorocarbon Phase-out Management Plan - Stage II
The objective of the HPMP Stage II is as follows:
Stage II Objective
🎯 To reduce the demand for Hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) through implementing policy and regulatory interventions, capacity-building initiatives for Refrigeration and Air-conditioning (RAC) technicians and other stakeholders and the implementing awareness-raising activities.

The project is comprised of four (4) components:
- Improved policy, legislative and regulatory framework
- Capacity building for refrigeration technicians and vocational schools
- Public and stakeholders' awareness
- Project monitoring, evaluation and reporting

Activities under HPMP Stage II are expected to include:
- Making equipment donations to Technical and Vocational Institutions
- Convening stakeholder sensitisation meetings
- Implementing awareness initiatives for stakeholders and the public (e.g., technical seminars, publication of awareness-raising information through print and/or electronic media etc.)
