Individuals and businesses who import and export refrigerants and other chemicals controlled under the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer are advised that there will be a change to the licensing process.

Effective November 1, 2023, a request for approval must be made to the Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS) and Hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) Management Programme of the Ministry of Environment and National Beautification, Green and Blue Economy (MENB), before applying to the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs (DCCA) for an Import or Export Licence.
